Along with the new model Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT the watch company Omega has introduced a new exclusive addition to its legendary "family" of co – axial movements. Co-Axial caliber 8605/8615 by Omega is the first mechanism of the company, equipped with complicated function GMT. In addition to hour, minute and second hands, the function GTM is extra hand which makes a complete rotation every 24 hours, allowing indicate time in two time zones.
The model Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT is quite a remarkable creation, a fully executed in the spirit of Omega. The case with diameter of 43 mm is available in several versions: from 18 - carat pink gold, stainless steel or a version of their harmonious combination. The sapphire glass, covering screwed case, allows see an exclusive inner co – axial mechanism. This watch come with the bracelet, made of the same metal as the case, as well as black, brown or blue leather strap.
The dial is quite remarkable: the vertical lines on its surface look like wooden floors of luxury boats. Hour indexes are made of 18 - carat polished gold and coated with a luminescent substance Super-LumiNova. Facetted hands are made of 18 - carat white or red gold, and also covered with coating Super-LumiNova, which allows read indicators even in absolute darkness. The hand GMT with red tip wit makes it easy to distinguish two time zones.

Co-Axial escapement is used in conjunction with a free spring of balance and its functions are significantly different from the traditional escapement. Rate of the watch can be adjusted by modifying the moment of inertia of the balance by means of two gold regulating micro screws, embedded in a circular balance. This design allows avoid the harmful effects of contact between the balance spring and axis that, therefore, provides a stable rate of the watch for a long period of use. As a result friction is reduced, which means that completely eliminated the need for lubrication: Co-Axial caliber has long intervals of operation and watch Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT, which is also equipped with a silicon balance spring, comes with a four-year warranty.

La novedad del día en cuánto a relojes de lujo se refiere nos la trae la firma Omega con su nuevo Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT. Dotado de un calibre 8605/8615 Co-Axial, éste destaca por ser el primer movimiento hecho en Omega en llevar la complicación GMT.
La aguja de esta complicación se presenta en color rojo para diferenciarla del segundero. Lo curioso de este modelo es que la segunda zona horaria se encuentra en el borde interno de la esfera en números arábicos. Decimos que es un dato curioso, pues hasta ahora todos los relojes con segundo huso horario se presentaban en una esfera diferente o con las horas en el bisel.
El tamaño de la caja de este modelo es de 43mm y estará disponible en varias versiones: caja de acero, acero y oro u oro rojo. La correa se presenta en piel de cocodrilo negra.
